CARF, The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF)
CARF is an independent not-for-profit that reviews and grants accreditation services nationally and internationally on request of a facility or program. Their standards are rigorous and their focus ensures the services provided meet peoples needs for quality and the best possible outcomes. Services that meet their standards are among the best available. CRC is accredited by CARF for Community Housing and Community Living Services
Community Housing Alternatives (CHA)
CHA is a subsidiary of CRC. CHA offers housing and home ownership opportunities for people with disabilities and low income families in Southeastern Michigan. Through development and supportive management of affordable and accessible rental housing and through training and assistance with the home purchase process, CHA assists individuals and families in identifying and securing the housing option of their choice. The U.S. Department of Labor this week launched Disability.gov, a redesigned federal Web site that connects the more than 50 million Americans with disabilities to thousands of trusted resources on disability-related issues, programs and services. Formerly known as DisabilityInfo.gov, the site has been completely redesigned and updated with new social media tools, such as a blog and a Twitter feed, to encourage feedback and interaction among visitors. Disability.gov is not just for Americans with disabilities, but also for parents of children with disabilities, employers, workforce and human resource professionals, veterans, educators, caregivers and many others.
GovBenefits.gov (Your Benefits Connection)
GovBenefits.gov is a resource for all citizens and includes information on a variety of benefits and assistance programs. This site offers extensive benefit program information for veterans, seniors, students, teachers, children, people with disabilities, dependents, disaster victims, farmers, caregivers, prospective homeowners and more. GovBenefits.gov helps citizens access government benefit eligibility information through a free, confidential, and easy-to-use online screening tool. After answering some basic questions, the user receives a customized report listing the benefit programs for which the user, or person for whom he or she is entering information, may be eligible.
LifeWays is the mental health managed care organization in Jackson and Hillsdale Counties. They are the primary funding agency of CLNs fiscal intermediary services for customers in these counties. For more information call LifeWays at 1.800.284.8288
Michigan Assisted Living Association (MALA)
CRC is a member of the Michigan Assisted Living Association. MALA is a nonprofit organization representing 4,200 assisted living and vocational services programs serving 40,000 individuals statewide. The persons receiving services are persons with developmental disabilities, psychiatric disabilities, physical disabilities or closed head injuries or persons who are elderly. Quality Mall (Your Information Place)
Welcome to Quality Mall, a place where you can find lots of free information about person-centered supports for people with developmental disabilities. Each of the Mall stores has departments you can look through to learn about positive practices that help people with developmental disabilities live, work and participate in our communities and improve the quality of their supports.
Washtenaw Association for Community Advocacy (ACA)
ACA provides advocacy and support for people with developmental disabilities, in all areas of life in our community. With the right assistance and support, people with developmental disabilities can and will be contributing, valued members of the communities in which they live. Washtenaw Community Health Organization (WCHO)
The WCHO is the primary funding agency for both CRC and CLN. The WCHOs mission is to provide an integrated mental health, substance abuse and physical health care delivery system for Medicaid and indigent consumers who receive services that are responsive to the needs and values of citizens of Washtenaw County.
